    This randomized phase III trial is studying American ginseng to see how well it works in treating patients with fatigue caused by cancer.

  7. Study Population
    Candidates are at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with cancer within 2 years. The candidate must have finished at least one course of chemotherapy or targeted therapy or at least 1 week of radiation therapy and must have experienced fatigue for at least 1 month. There must be no brain metastasis or primary CNS cancer, there must have been no previous use of ginseng capsules.
