  1. Resource Description
"Administration of intravenous zinc gluconate for emergency medical treatment of acute cardiovascular collapse occurring from Chironex jellyfish venom stings and "Irukandji" associated catecholamine storms of severe carybdea jellyfish venom stings. Our researcher has found that the kinetics of lethal hyperkalemia can be markedly slowed by intravenous zinc gluconate (an existing therapeutic agent administered intravenously) and therefore potentially useful for emergency management of stings associated with high morbidity and mortality."
