"This course has been designed for Kaiser Permanente healthcare providers. Participants will work together as teams to prevent the clinical deterioration of simulated hospitalized patients in crisis. By using hands-on, interactive learning techniques, participants will practice the essential elements of expert teamwork, learn how to rapidly establish an effective safety net for patients, and communicate using proven, error-reducing strategies. The course makes extensive use of high fidelity manikin simulation, computerized video debriefing methods, and electronic audience polling to achieve the course objectives."
