  1. Resource Description
"During the family medicine sub-internship, students provide inpatient care to patients at Wahiawa General Hospital. In addition to caring for inpatients on a day to basis, students also take overnight call and admit patients from the emergency room. As part of the inpatient call team, students will frequently be asked to respond to urgent and emergent patient needs with their upper-level residents. This simulation experience is intended to complement their inpatient sub-internship with hands-on experience in a non-threatening environment through which they can develop a framework and approach to managing the acutely ill and "crashing" patient."
