    "AirMed Neonatal/OB is a one day course for nurses, paramedics, and other health care providers. AirMed is partnering with the Collaborative Health Initiative (CHI) and the Kapiolani Transport Team for Newborn First Response training. The program consists of a morning session of didactics and interactive discussions in conjunction with instructors from Kapiolani and Hilo Medical Centers. Topics covered will include a review of pre-term labor, neonatal resuscitation (NRP/STABLE), airway and circulatory management of the newborn and aeromedical transfer. The afternoon portion will consist of hands-on training using a birthing simulator and SimBaby/SimNewB. The class will be divided into 4 groups who will rotate through various stations consisting of neonatal airway management, intraosseous placement, umbilical vein cannulation, and a videotaped Megacode with debriefing."
